AMAC-1

[alternative activated macrophage associated CC-Chemokine] AMAC-1 belongs to the group of CC-Chemokines and is related most closely to MIP-1-alpha (Kodelja et al, 1998). The factor has been described as PARC (pulmonary and activation-regulated chemokine), MIP-4 (macrophage inflammatory protein-4), or DC-CK1. For a modified form of MIP-4 see: Ck-beta-7.
