CAP57

[cationic antimicrobial protein 57] Pereira et al (1990) have shown that the 57 kDa protein CAP57, which is detected in the granules of neutrophilic cells in the bone marror and mature peripheral blood neutrophils but is absent from eosinophils or erythrocytes and mononuclear cells, is identical with BPI [Bactericidal/permeability-increasing protein].
