CCR9

[CCR9(+), CCR9(-)]

[CC-Chemokine receptor 9] new name proposed for the human orphan receptor called GPR9-6, expression of which is very high in the thymus and low in lymph nodes and spleen (Zaballos et al, 1999). The receptor has been referred to also as GPR28 [G-protein-coupled receptor-28] or CMKBR9 [chemokine-beta receptor 9]. In the nomenclature of CD antigens the protein has received the provisional designation CDw199.

The receptor has been identified also as CCBP2 (chemokine binding protein-2), which is identical with another receptor, D6. The ... ... ... ... ... Subscribe to continue reading! ... ...
