[Chemokine CC Receptor-like-1] The approved gene symbol for this receptor is ACKR4 [atypical chemokine receptor 4].
Gosling et al (2001) gave the provisional designation CCR10 for this receptor and initially called the receptor CCX-CKR (Chemocentryx Chemokine receptor). However, CCR10 and CCRL1 differ from each other. CCRL1 and a cDNA identified originally by Khoja et al (2000) by using a bovine gustatory receptor, as a probe for EST database searching, are considered homologous.
