CIS

[Cytokine inducible SH2-containing protein] CIS (also: CIS1 or CISH [Cytokine inducible SH2-containing protein] is a protein of 257 amino acids with an SH2 domain (see also: src homology domains) of 96 amino acids in the middle. Sequence analysis shows that this protein is identical with SOCS [Suppressor of cytokine signaling]. A databank synonym is G18.
