ChDI

[Chondrocyte-derived inhibitor] This factor of 35 kDa is obtained from the conditioned medium of bovine chondrocytes (Moses et al, 1992). The factor strongly inhibits neovascularization of tissues in vivo and inhibits the proliferation and migration of capillary endothelial cells stimulated by FGF in vitro. ChDI also acts as an inhibitor of collagenases.
