[DEC-205-associated C-type lectin-1] The cDNA encoding DCL-1 has been identified by Kato et al (2003) in Reed-Sternberg cells associated with the development of classic Hodgkin's lymphoma as part of a fusion protein between involving DEC-205 (CD205). The fusion mRNA predominates in these cells, but both proteins are expressed also independently in myeloid cells and B-lymphoid cell lines.
