ENTH domain

[ENTH domains]

[epsin NH2-terminal homology domain] This protein domain of approximately 140 amino acids was identified first in the endocytotic protein epsin 1 and is found in a variety of proteins that otherwise show little sequence relationship (Kay et al, 1999). A highly similar module is the ANTH domain [AP180 N-terminal homology domain], which is present in a set of proteins that also support clathrin-dependent endocytosis (Legendre-Guillemin et al, 2004).
