Eosinophil viability-enhancing activity

This factor is produced and released by human mononuclear cells. It enhances the viability of cultured eosinophils. The activity of the factor is completely neutralized by antibodies directed against GM-CSF, but not by specific antibodies to IL3 and IL5.
