The monoclonal antibody of this name recognizes an antigen expressed on murine follicular dendritic cells and is used usually to identify this cell type (Haley et al, 1995). Kranich et al (2008) have shown that the antigen identified by FDC-M1 is identical with MFGE8 [Milk fat globule epidermal growth factor-8]
