[FH domains]
[formin homology domain] Proteins containing this domain (FH proteins) act as cytoskeletal organisers that regulate morphogenesis, cell polarity, and cytokinesis (Wasserman et al, 1998; Zigmond et al, 2004).
The mouse formin protein is encoded by the limb deformity gene. Various mutations in the formin locus result in limb deformity, suggesting an indispensable roles in limb development (Zuniga et al, 2004). Formin contains two conserved domains, designated FH1 and FH2, which are involved in the assembly of unbranched actin filaments in a variety of cellular processes that require the remodelling of the cytoskeleton. The FH2 domain
