This human protein, which is found in activated T-cells (Haddad et al, 1991), is a member of the family of serine proteases known as granzymes. The approved gene symbol is GZMH. Klein et al (1990) have cloned a human cDNA from IL2 activated lymphocytes. The encoded protein, termed CSP-C [cytotoxic serine protease C] is identical with granzyme H.
