HuLy-m5

This human cell surface antigen is detected by a murine monoclonal antibody (E4.3) and has been described by Sparrow and McKenzie, 1983). Sparrow et al (1985) have reported cross-reactivity of HuLy-m5 with determinants of the primate retroviruses, MPMV (Mason Pfizer monkey virus) and GALV (gibbon ape leukemia virus). Purcell et al (1989) have shown that HuLy-m5 and primate retroviral gp70 molecules share protein-defined antigenic determinants.

The antigen is expressed in a subpopulation of myeloid cells at all stages of differentiation (promyelocytes, myelocytes, metamyelocytes, and neutrophils), in lymphocytes, but not in platelets and ... ... ... ... ... Subscribe to continue reading! ... ...
