IL6 inducing factor

This biochemically uncharacterized factor has been observed in the conditioned medium of cocultures of activated T-cells and human osteoblasts in which the two cell types were separated by a transwell system. The T-cell factor is responsible for the induction of IL6 in osteoblasts. Neutralizing antibodies to IL13 and IL17 do not affect IL6 production.
