This murine T-cell lymphoma line (called also LBRM-33 1 A-5) derived from the B10.BR mouse is used to assay IL1 (see also: bioassays, cytokine assays). The activity of IL1 is determined indirectly by measuring the amounts of IL2 induced in these cells by IL1 either by ELISA or in another cell line (see: CTLL-2).
