This is the name of a monoclonal antibody raised against human colonic cancer cells (LS 180) (Kurosaka et al, 1987). The antibody binds to the carbohydrate moiety of mucin-type glycoproteins but not to glycoproteins from another colonic cancer cell line, SW 1116, or to glycolipids from any of the colonic cancer cell lines. The antibody binds to ovine and bovine submaxillary mucins (OSM and BSM). The antibody identifies NeuAc alpha 2-6Ga1NAc (sialosyl-Tn antigen) epitopes (Kurosaka et al, 1988).

The monoclonal antibody of this name recognizes rat CD175s.
