[novel interleukin receptor] This type 1 cytokine receptor is most related to the beta chain of the IL2 receptor. High levels of NILR mRNA are expressed in thymus and spleen. The receptor is found in Raji B-cells, and YT natural killer-like cells.
Artificial homodimerization of the NILR cytoplasmic domain confers proliferation to BaF3 murine pro-B-cells but not to 32D myeloid progenitor cells or CTLL-2 murine T-helper cells. NILR does not seem to utilise the common cytokine receptor gamma chain common beta. NILR associates with
