PF4-ALT

A variant of PF4, designated PF4V1 [platelet factor-4 variant 1] (approved gene symbol), PF4A [platelet factor-4 alternate], or PF4-var. Another designation is CXCL4L1 [CXCL4 like-1] (Eisman et al, 1990; Green et al, 1989). The factor is known also as CXCL4V1 [CXCL4 variant-1], or SCYB4V1 [SCYB4 variant-1] [small inducible cytokine subfamily B member 4 variant 1].
