Perikinins

These peptides, which are related to members of the family of Leucokinins, have been isolated from the retrocerebral complex of the American cockroach, Periplaneta americana. They are myotropic neuropeptides or neurohormones that stimulation contraction of the hindgut (Predel et al, 1997).
