ROR1

[receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1; RTK-like orphan receptor 1] also: NTRKR1 [neurotrophic tyrosine kinase receptor-related 1] (Masiakowski and Carroll, 1992). ROR1 is evolutionarily conserved (Katoh and Katoh, 2005); zebrafish and human ROR1 show 71.7 % amino acid identity. ROR1 and the related ROR2 have an amino acid homology of 58 %. For the Drosophila melanogster counterpart see: Dror.

The ROR1 cell surface receptor tyrosine kinase has been identified as a member of the neurotrophic trk gene family (Masiakowski and Carroll, 1992). The receptor is expressed strongly in human ... ... ... ... ... Subscribe to continue reading! ... ...
