Restrictin-P
This glycoprotein factor, identified initially as plasmacytoma growth inhibitor, is produced by the bone marrow-derived endothelial stromal cell line MBA-2.1. The factor inhibits the growth of plasmacytomas and mature B-cell lymphomas (Honigwachs-Sha'anani et al, 1991). The factor is produced also by bone marrow stromal cells (Kadouri et al, 1992).
Brosh et al (1995) have shown that the factor is identical with activin A.
