[Swain-Langley blood group antigens]
abbr. Sl. Moulds et al (1991, 1992, 2001) have reported that the Swain-Langley blood group antigen resides on the C3b/C4b receptor. Moulds et al (2002) have characterized a variety of different alleles which allow further subdivisions of the major Sl(a) genotype. For a recent review see: Moulds (2010).
See also: blood group antigens.
In the nomenclature of CD antigens the protein has been given the designation CD35.
