[T-cell activation-3] This factor is produced by T-cells after cell activation (Burd et al, 1987). It is expressed selectively during activation via the antigen-receptor pathway or stimulation of the cells by concanavalin A. Expression of TCA-3 in response to Con A is blocked by cyclosporin A treatment (Wilson et al, 1990). The factor is produced also by mast cells (Oh and Metcalfe, 1994).
