TTRAP

[TRAF and TNF receptor-associated protein] Pype et al (2000) have isolated a cDNA encoding TTRAP (362 amino acids) by a yeast 2-hybrid screen on a HeLa cDNA library using the cytoplasmic region of CD40 as bait. The gene maps to human chromosome 6p22.3-p22.1.

TTRAP (362 amino acids) appears to be expressed widely and is most prominent in fetal thymus and some regions of the brain. TTRAP interacts with CD40, the TNF p75 receptor, TRAF2, TRAF3, TRAF5, and TRAF6. TTRAP does not interact with TRADD. The interaction with CD40 is enhanced by stimulation of ... ... ... ... ...
