[common dendritic progenitor]
also: common DC progenitors; common dendritic cell progenitors; abbr. CDPs. This term has been used to describe the progenitors of dendritic cells in mouse and humans (Ardavin, 2003; Strobl, 2003). These cells are restricted in their development and do not generate lymphoid cells or monocytes or macrophages (Naik et al, 2007; Onai et al, 2007) (see also: MDPs [macrophage and DC progenitors].
