delta-1
The murine delta-1 gene encodes a protein of 359 amino acids (Fujio et al, 2000). It is a member of the Type 1 cytokine receptor family. The extracellular domain of the protein shares homology with common gamma, a receptor subunit found in the receptors for various interleukins.
The human counterpart has been identified as CRLM-2. The protein has been identified independently as one receptor component for murine thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) (Park et al, 2000).
The human homolog is dll1.
