guanylin

abbr. GN. Human Guanylin is a small peptide of 15 amino acids (PGTCEICAYAACTGC) derived from a larger precursor (Hamra et al, 1996). The protein is structurally related to Uroguanylin and Lymphoguanylin. The peptide contains four conserved cysteines.
