These cells are called also Tn cells or IL17A-producing neutrophil-regulatory Tn lymphocytes. It is a collective term for certain subsets of specialized T-cells that produce the pro-inflammatory cytokine IL17A. Lymphocytes producing IL17 are most abundant in the mesenteric lymph node (0.15 % of all lymphocytes in this anatomical location). Approximately 60 % of the Tn cells are Gamma-Delta T-cells. About 25 % resemble NKT-cells. Less than 15 % are CD4(+) T-cells that are known also as Th17 cells (or IL17-secreting T-cells, IL17(+) T-helper cells
