[synarmotic cell]
Also: synarmotic neurons, cells of Landau, Landau cells. This cell type, described first by Landau (1927) and later by Braak (1974), is found in the cerebellar cortex. These cells are intermediate-sized neurons in the internal granule layer and might represent a subpopulation of Lugaro cells (Braak, 1974).
