CETAF

[Corneal epithelial cell-derived thymocyte activating factor] The term CETAF is more or less an operational definition of biological activities identified in co-stimulation assays with thymocytes, which greatly stimulates the growth of murine thymocytes (see also: TAF, thymocyte activating factor) (Grabner et al, 1982, 1983.

The main CETAF activity appears to be due to IL1 (Luger et al, 1983).
