PRR2

[poliovirus receptor-related-2] The protein has been renamed HveB and is known also as nectin-2. In the nomenclature of CD antigens the designation is CD112. Another designation for this protein is PVRL2 [Poliovirus receptor-like-2].

This gene, which is expressed ubiquitously in human tissues, has been identified by Eberlé et al (1995) by virtue of (limited) sequence homology with the poliovirus receptor PVR.

The murine homolog has been identified by Morrison and Racaniello (1992) and has been called Mph [ ... ... ... ... ... Subscribe to continue reading! ... ...
