[T-cell growth factor receptor] This term is used in older publications. It refers to a receptor that corresponds to the alpha subunit of the IL2 receptor, which is known also as the TAC antigen (see also: IL2RA) (Leonard et al, 1983). In the nomenclature of CD antigens this protein has been given the designation CD25.
