TLR28

[Toll-like receptor-28] This toll-like receptor, designated also mmiTLR28, has been identified in the economically important marine teleost fish miiuy croaker (Brown Croaker) (Miichthys miiuy). The receptor show high homology with TLR2. High expression levels are seen in the liver. Expression is upregulated, also in leukocytes, in response to Vibrio anguillarum, Staphylococcus aureus, lipopolysaccharides, and poly (I:C) stimulation, indicating the potential role of this receptor in immune responses (Wang Y et al, 2016).
