[bovine adenovirus 3 121R protein] This protein of 14.7 kDa is encoded by the E3 early multi-gene transcription unit in the genome of bovine adenovirus type 3. The protein shows limited homology to human adenovirus E3 14.7 kDa protein but can be immunoprecipitated by antisera against the viral protein of the human adenovirus. 121R is functionally related to human adenovirus E3 14.7 kDa protein and inhibits cytolysis of virus-infected mouse cells by human TNF-alpha.
