[baculoviral IAP repeat-containing protein-7]. This protein, which contains a BIR domain, is known also as ML-IAP [melanoma inhibitor of apoptosis], KIAP [kidney inhibitor of apoptosis], RNF50 [RING finger protein 50]. It has been isolated independently as Livin. See also: IAP.
