[CMRF35-like molecule-5] This murine receptor has been identified by Chung et al (2003). CLM5 is a member of a larger family of activating and inhibitory receptors (see also: CLM1, CLM2, CLM3, CLM4, CLM6, CLM7, CLM8, CLM9). Shibuya et al (2009) have stated that this receptor corresponds to MAIR-IV [myeloid-associated immunoglobulin-like receptor IV]. The receptor has been described independently as LMIR4 [leukocyte mono-Ig-like receptor 4]. The receptor belongs to the CD300 family of receptors.
