[leukocyte mono-Ig-like receptor 4] This receptor has been described by Izawa et al (2007). LMIR4 is expressed in myeloid cells, including granulocytes, macrophages, and mast cells. It is not expressed in B-cells or T-cells. Enomoto et al (2010) have reported predominant expression on neutrophils.
The receptor belongs to the CD300 family of receptors and is being referred to also as Cd300ld3 or Cd300lh. Sequence analysis shows that this receptor corresponds to CLM5 [CMRF35-like molecule-5
