The cDNA encoding this protein of 267 amino acids has been cloned by Sui et al (2004). The protein shares 32 % amino acid identity with CMRF35 (CD300C). The cytoplasmic region contains two inhibitory ITIM motif and an ITIM-like motif. ISGF13 transcripts are found in the spleen, peripheral blood leukocytes, and lung.
