Luteinizing hormone

abbr. LH. The hormone is being referred to also as LSH [lutein-stimulating hormone]. This hormone is known also as Gonadotropin-2, or Interstitial cell-stimulating hormone (abbr. ICSH). An older designation is Lutropin.
