[TNF receptor superfamily member 19] This protein is one of the members of the TNF receptor superfamily of proteins. Sequence comparisons show that TNFRSF19 is identical with TROY, which has been identified independently as TAJ.
Murine TNFRSF19 cDNA encodes a putative membrane protein of 348 amino acids with one incomplete and two copies of a complete cysteine-rich motif within its extracellular region and a large cytoplasmic domain. The mRNA is detected in most murine tissues examined, particularly in brain, reproductive organs, and late developmental stages of murine embryo, but not in tissues of the immune system.
