IL1H is related to IL1 and mostly related to IL1ra at the protein level (Pan et al, 2001). Sequence analysis shows that IL1H encodes variants of IL1F7 [IL1 family member 7; Interleukin-1 family member 7] (see: IL1H4), for which the term IL37 [interleukin-37] has been proposed.
The designations IL1H or IL1HLa refer to two open reading frames, and the encoded protein corresponds to the IL37b splice variant (see: IL37). The designations IL1HL and IL1HS refer to two cDNA clones identified by PCR amplification. IL1HL
