[casein-kappa] approved gene symbol: CSN3; abbr. or databank synonyms also: CASK, CSN10, CSNK, KCA. See: caseins. Proteolytic cleavage of Kappa-casein can yield bioactive fragments known as Casoxins and Casoplatelin.
