ASK3
[Apoptosis signal-regulating kinase 3] This name has been given to a kinase identified by Kaji et al (2010), based on sequence homology to ASK1 and ASK2, which are members of the mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase (MAP3K) family that are implicated in cell death by apoptosis, stress responses, and various diseases. Other designations are MAP3K15 (MAPKKK15) [mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 15], MEKK15 [MAP/ERK kinase kinase 15].
