This term has multiple meanings:
(-1-) Adenylyl cyclase-associated protein 1; cyclase-associated actin cytoskeleton regulatory protein 1] The gene has been cloned by Matviw et al (1992), showing that it is related to similar proteins found in yeast. Yu et al (1994) have reported that the human protein can fully complement loss of functions in Saccharomyces pombe.
