[Colony-forming unit granulocyte macrophage; granulocyte-macrophage colony-forming cells; granulocyte-macrophage colony-forming units] Term used to describe a pluripotent type of precursor cells in the lineage of blood-forming cells that can differentiate into granulocytes and macrophages (see also: hematopoiesis).
