[granule membrane protein 140 kDa] GMP-140 is an integral membrane glycoprotein found in secretory granules of platelets and endothelial cells (see also: PADGEM; platelet activation dependent granule-external membrane protein). The gene has been cloned by Johnston et al (1989). In the nomenclature of CD antigens the protein has been given the designation CD62P.
