RIP4

[receptor interacting protein-4] RIP4 is a member of a family of Serine Threonine kinases (see also: RIP, RIP2, RIP3, RIP5) that regulate signal transduction processes leading to NF-kappa-B activation. The protein is known also as human DIK [PKC-delta-interacting protein kinase] (Bahr et al, 2000) or murine PKK [protein kinase C-associated kinase], which links activation of transcription factor NF-kappa-B to protein kinase C (Chen et al, 2001).
