IL39

[interleukin-39] This term has been used to describe a heterodimeric cytokine composed of IL23-p19 and EBI-3 and is sometimes being referred to as IL23-p19/EBI-3. The protein is secreted by B-cells and GL7+ activated B-cells of lupus-like mice after stimulation with LPS. IL39 mediates inflammatory responses through activation of STAT1 / STAT3 in lupus-like mice and might contribute to immunopathogenic mechanisms of systemic lupus erythematosus (Wang et al, 2016).
