PDS
[plasma-derived serum] Whole blood serum (abbr. WBS) has been shown to contain a variety of growth factors and cytokines, including EGF and PDGF. Cell proliferation studies are performed frequently, therefore, by using plasma-derived serum as an unspecific cocktail of growth factors.
