Tenomodulin

abbr. TNMD, TeM. The murine cDNA for this protein has been cloned following the identification of an expressed sequence tag showing homology to Chondromodulin (Shukunami et al, 2001). The protein appears to be the same as Myodulin and has been described independently as ChM1L [Chondromodulin-1 like protein]. Another name for this protein is tendin. The protein contains a Brichos domain; a databank synonym is BRICD4 [brichos domain containing 4].
